Ageing in smalloak barrels (about one‐third of which is new) for 15 to 18 months before beingbottled (without filtration). This wine is earthy and big with dark cassisfruit. Presence of tannins which assist in a long finish. The wine should definitely be accompanied by meat; vealbreast or lamb, the strong flavors and fat can be cut expertly by the tannins.
